Andy Ash describes his photographic ethos as 'empathy not sympathy' taking a journalistic approach to shooting subjects ranging from inhabitants of South Sudan's refugee camps, to residents of modern Belgrade. 

We took an empathetic approach to designing an identity for him, that remained minimal and allowed his strong imagery to do the talking. We also designed an editorial style to be flowed across four newspaper editions capturing each project, and creating a visual pace to help keep readers engaged.
